That story doesn’t begin with you — and sadly, it hasn’t ended yet either. 

This blog is about two forgotten queens — but it’s also about the billions of women in the past and today who quietly carry legacies of power, sacrifice, and strength… and still get left behind. 

Two Queens. One Fire. 

Uloopi was a serpent princess — powerful, wise, and loyal. 
She saved Arjuna’s life with her serpent pearl. She loved him fiercely. When he walked away, leaving her in the shadows of his decision, she didn’t plead for his return. Instead, she took the remnants of her heart and forged them into something remarkable. With unwavering resolve, she constructed a life that radiated loyalty and was steeped in honor, each day a testament to her inner strength and dedication. 

Nagalakshmi was born into royalty, but she was deprived of her rightful throne. She trained and waited, and when the opportunity finally arose, she fought to reclaim her position—not just for the sake of pride, but because she knew she was destined to lead.  

Though their stories take place in different eras, their spirits are identical. Nagalakshmi, born into a lineage of royalty, found herself unjustly stripped of her rightful throne. Determined and resilient, she dedicated herself to rigorous training like a true warrior and patiently bided her time. When the fateful moment finally arrived, she rose to the challenge with unwavering resolve, fighting not out of arrogance but from a deep-rooted conviction that she was destined to lead her people. 

Although their tales unfold across different eras, the essence of their spirits remains strikingly similar—both embodying strength, courage, and an unyielding commitment to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. 

They were women who gave everything — love, loyalty, battle, blood — 
And in return, they were erased from the spotlight. 

Sound familiar? 

It should! There’s a fierce warrior lingering somewhere within each woman! Women today persistently encounter both longstanding and emerging challenges, bravely forging ahead to claim more space and recognition for themselves. Their relentless determination and courage reflect a powerful spirit as they navigate obstacles, striving to create greater opportunities and equality in an ever-evolving world. 

What Makes a Woman Warrior? 

Here’s the unspoken truth that often lingers in the shadows of society: 

• When a man makes sacrifices, he is celebrated and revered. 

• When a woman makes sacrifices, it’s merely viewed as her duty. 

• When a man steps into a leadership role, he is lauded as strong and decisive. 

• When a woman takes the helm, she is often labeled as “too much,” as if her ambition overreaches. 

Uloopi and Nagalakshmi didn’t just fight against external foes; they waged a relentless battle against the deeper scars of betrayal, the heavy weight of abandonment, and the relentless denial of their rightful inheritance. Their journey was a continuous struggle against societal expectations, where every step they took demanded not only strength but an unwavering resolve to prove their worth in a world that often refused to recognize it. 

What This Book Raises (Without Preaching) 

This isn’t just a novel. 
It’s a reminder. 

A reminder that real power doesn’t need a throne. 
That sometimes, the greatest warriors are the ones who are never acknowledged. 

It raises a question most women carry every day but never voice: 

“What if I’m doing everything right… and they still don’t see me?” 

And then it answers that question the way Uloopi and Nagalakshmi did: 
You keep rising anyway. 

Why I Wrote This Book 

I’ve witnessed women bend until they break—and even then, rise as if nothing ever happened. Their resilience is legendary, and only acknowledged is passing.  

I’ve seen daughters, mothers, wives, professionals, and leaders give more than they’re asked for, yet be remembered for far less than they deserve – their contributions often negated or sidelined.  

It’s time to bring the forgotten women back to the center of the story. I’ve observed women endure incredible adversity, bending under the weight of their burdens until they seem on the verge of breaking—and even then, they rise with resilience, as if nothing ever happened.  

I’ve watched women pour their hearts and souls into everything they do, giving far more than they are ever asked and yet fading into the background, remembered for far less than their true worth.  

It is time to reclaim the narrative and restore the forgotten women to the forefront of the story — not through the lens of pity, but by celebrating their strength and power. 

Uloopi and Nagalakshmi may or mayn’t come from myth, 
But what they represent? Women Power!  

That’s real. That’s now.
